New Post
So after about 12 (13) months of not doing anything (where has that year gone?) I am restarting Library 2.0.
One advantage this time is that I now have access to sound..........much easier and so advanced!!!!
Sarcasm always goes a long way when I am dealing it out!
Anyhow.........here's hoping I can continue 2.0.

My favourite library
This is a photo of the first public library I ever visited when I was about 5 years old http://www.flickr.com/photos/dublincitypubliclibraries/373898623/
With an impressive entrance like this - who could not fall in love with library work? Hope you have a look at a few more of the photos of this great Carnegie building.

Fun! Fun and More Fun!
Well, what fun this is!!
Blogging is just one terrific idea - just loved the sample Local History Blog.
What a great opportunity for our communities to contribute to our combined knowledge! Local History Librarians must be just thrilled to be able to invite and involve participation at the level.
............Only one thing............. The community seems to have ignored the opportunity to submit their items..............Guess we are just ahead of the crowd and over time all blogs will be used to capacity.
Just a tad cynical? yes!
Onwards and upwards..........the future looks bright and full of interesting comments from an active community only too willing to share their viewpoints, memories and interests with the world at large.
